Coronavirus Update – September 2021

September 2021 –

Our last public performance was as part of the Petersfield Festival Choir in March 2020 , just before the official “Lockdown”  which commenced a week or so after the event. The audience attendance at the Petersfield Festival Hall was poor because of the public health situation. However the performance of two modern works, Andrew Carter’s Benidicite and Richard Blackford’s Mirror of Perfection, was judged to be, not least by the conductor, Paul Spicer, as very successful.

Sadly, since April 2020 we have not been able to sing together. A concert was planned for May last year at Trotton Church. That had to be cancelled.

However we can now announce that the choir will again start singing for the 2021/2022 season. Rehearsals will commence on Tuesday September 14th at 7.30 pm. We will be rehearsing for the Petersfield Music Festival Choral Concert next March.

The programme for the 2021/2022 will be appearing on this website shortly.
